This will not be the usual real estate web site

 

You will find information here that you won’t find anywhere else. This site is based on the sources used by many of Canada’s top real estate professionals looking to enhance their own skill sets. There’s no reason you shouldn’t have access to the same sources.

 

I came to the residential real estate business almost by accident. Over the last twelve years I have been involved in commercial real estate, and I’ve been teaching the subject at the University of Toronto along with my father and mentor, Pierre Boiron. Our students have included business people, real estate enthusiasts, and investors.

 

Together we wrote the book on Commercial Real Estate. This text was created to offer a framework for relating fundamental concepts and ideas in our university lectures.

 

If the entire real estate business can trust me to teach them how to sell houses, you can probably trust me to sell your house.

 

Even though I always did a handful of residential transactions each year, lately an overwhelming number of people have asked me to represent them in buying and selling residential properties.

 

So I’ve decided to expand my universe and, being a teacher, I proposed a university course on the subject to York. If all continues to go well, we’ll be starting later this year, likely offering nine unique 3-hour workshops. 

 

Naturally, I’m writing another book, this one will teach existing and prospective residential real estate agents the ins and outs of the business, but it should also be an enjoyable read for anyone interested in the subject.

 

So, here is the difference between this web site and all the others.

 

I will share my knowledge with you as if you were one of my students. I will offer the short form of the course material in the hope that you will find it valuable enough to want to work with me the next time you want to buy or sell a property.

 

Whether that happens or not, I’ll be happy to know I’ve given you something of value that will be yours for the rest of your life. The better you understand what drives real estate agents' behaviour, the moves they make, and the reasoning behind their decisions, the better the chances are that you will be successful when buying or selling property in the future.

 

I will leave you with this one thought: If seasoned real estate experts trust me to teach them how to buy and sell houses, you can trust me to help you buy or sell a house.
