Create a seasonal centrepiece:
Pumpkins are always a classic choice but you can also mix it up with pomegranates, dried florals, corn husks or feathers.
Turn a pumpkin into a vase:
Scoop out a pumpkin and hide a water-filled vase inside with a bouquet of seasonal flowers.
Light candles on your fireplace:
For a more festive and easy to keep fireplace, arrange a block of candles inside your fireplace.
DIY double-duty name tags:
Cut a leaf shape from craft paper and handwrite your guests’ names. Pierce a hole in it and attach it with twine to the stem of a glass. It marks their spot on the table while keeping track of everyone’s drink.
Make your home smell like fall:
Grab a small saucepan with water, add orange peels and cinnamon sticks and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down and simmer for about an hour before guests arrive.

Every work-of-art needs a focal point. What would it be for your patio? A great example of a patio centrepiece is a gas-fueled fireplace. Fireplaces transform your patio into a cozy entertaining zone, at a reasonable price.
What’s better than a breakfast-in-bed? Breakfast on the patio! It’s a great way to start your day and to appreciate the nature around you. Stores like IKEA offer great small patio sets where you can sip your morning coffee.
The light elements of a space can make a world of a difference. Spice things up with string lights, lanterns, or even candles. These not only provide a source of light but can also double as decor.
